Last day at the British Heart Foundation (Placement) Friday 20th Jan 2012

It was my last day at my placement today!
I love that place.
I love my boss, I love my managers and my fellow volunteers.
Especially Kate, Malcolm and Sue :)
They're lovely.

It's been a great month working there and i've loved every minute.
I even buy loads of stuff from there! I've bought books, nail files, pin badges, raffle tickets, rings and birthday presents in that time. :)

I bought Malcom a bar of Dairy Milk for training me and looking out for me, because he's been the person i've worked with the most.
I bought the lovely Kate a box of Milk Tray because she's so wonderful. She's 83 and one of the most interesting people i've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I bought Fran and Mandy, the assistant managers a box of Quality Street.
I bought a nice tin of Fox's biscuits for everyone to share because I couldn't buy everyone something... lol

Then of course, Helen, my boss.
I bought her a bag of Sherbet lemons, because they're the only thing I've ever offered her that she's taken. lol.
She never seems to eat much...
And I also bought her a bouquet of flowers.
They made her cry, bless her.
She got quite emotional. She deserved them though. She's amazing.

I'm now looking forward to going back as a proper volunteer.
I can choose my hours and days and still do other things and job searches in the week.
It'll be better that way.
I'm going back on Monday to train the new guy, apparently he's called James/Jamie.
Harris (from Intraining) saw my first day and helped me...
Now, I want to help someone else that was in my situation :)
Can't wait.
