Happy Birthday Dad!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my brilliant Dad.

I baked him some little birthday cupcakes and decorated them nicely for him.
I bought him Forza 4 for the xbox 360, the Kill Bill blu ray boxset and a big tub of chocolate Jazzies and Snowies.

We went to Wigston because Mum and Dad had some stuff to do, so Mark and I wandered around and looked in some shops.
I handed CV's out.

We got home, had some cupcakes and chilled for an hour, then went to Melton Mowbray to view a new car  because our poor Mondeo of 16 years had to go for scrap a while back.

When we got home, Mum and I prepared a big buffet tea and Dad blew out the candle on his cupcakes. Since then, we've been sitting, watching the cricket. It's Leicestershire vs Yorkshire Carnegie at Grace Road.
COME ON YOU FOXES.

Dad's really enjoyed himself, which is lovely.
It's my brother, Mark's birthday tomorrow. He's 16.

So i'll be getting up early again, going for a meeting, then working for a couple of hours, coming home and then going out for a meal at the Oadby Owl.

Can't wait.

RIP Nora Ephron

Very sad to read, this morning, that Nora Ephron, the writer of so many of my favourite films, passed away in her sleep last night at the age of 71.
I wasn't too aware of her condition, although I did know that she was battling leukaemia and had been for a while, since 2006 I think.

She was a brilliant writer. I used to read her blogs aswell.
I always liked them.

RIP Nora!
