Two years ago today, I lost my beautiful and wonderful Grandma to cancer.

I think about her everyday, so today will be no exception.

It's funny how time can seem so short, but so long at the same time.

I miss her and my Grandad, very, very much.

But, I know they're looking down on my Family and I.

I just hope I make them both proud.

Rest In Peace, you beautiful people.

I love you and miss you both, so much.

I can be so mean when I want to be,

I am capable of really, anything...

I could cut you into pieces, when my heart is broken.

Mum's 50th Birthday: Thursday 23rd February 2012

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mum, on her 50th Birthday.

She's had a lovely day, and enjoyed everything we did.

Loved her prezzies, which i'm super happy about.

I bought Mum, Dolce and Gabbana - The One Perfume (50ml), a James Patterson book, some lilies and Thorntons.
Dad bought Mum a James Patterson book, War Horse: the book, an umbrella and a handbag.
Then gave her money too.
Mum had money from other Family members and M&S vouchers.

Then a Dolce & Gabbana: Light Blue gift set and some household bits and bobs too.

We woke up quite early and opened her prezzies, I made us all tea and toast in bed.

Then we all got up, did our own things and chilled out.

I went to work in the afternoon for an hour, picked up some lilies for Mum, went for my meeting and said goodbye to the crazy crew, aka colleagues :)

I got a huuuuge hug from my boss, I love her.

I got home and we chilled for an hour, messing about and chatting, Mum loved her lilies.

Then we went for a meal at the Oadby Owl.

Mum had the Chicken New Yorker, I had the Surf n Turf n Cluck, and Dad and Mark had a mixed grill each.

Then Dad and Mark had hot chocolate fudge cake for dessert and Mum and I shared a warm chocolate brownie and ice cream.
It was lovely.

When we got home, we watched Leicester vs Derby.

Leicester won for Mum, which was great.

Then we had some Birthday Cake later :)

 

It's just been a lovely day overall.
Really special.
