Fate?

It's funny really, when you read something, like the above, and usually, I NEVER take notice of it.
It's just a piece of writing, written by a stranger that I'll probably never know the name of, never meet and who knows nothing about me or my life.
But, when I read this, only 2 days later (Monday 2nd July), someone random did come into my life, and even though I can't relate to the last bit about them being "everything I'll ever need", (because I've only known him a week), it's strange, because I already can't imagine him not being in my life.

The story in a "nutshell" as it were, is that last Monday (2nd July), I was on a "Preparing for Employment" course, preparing me for work at Waitrose, if I get the job.
I thought I'd be on the course all day, from 9:30am to 3:30pm and that I wouldn't be in work (at the British Heart Foundation) at all.
Monday 2nd July was also the day that the Olympic Torch was coming through Leicester, Oadby, Kibworth and Market Harborough.

My shop (BHF) is in a prime spot, on the corner of the High Street in Market Harborough and we had a great view out of the windows on the 2nd floor, so we were all sat on the window sills and I was doing some tagging, when I looked down and there was a very nice looking guy outside, looking up at me.
I looked away but over the next hour I kept noticing him glance up at me and I kept an eye out for him too.

When the Torch had gone by and all of the excitement had died down, I went downstairs to the shop floor to continue with work. I was working near the door, sticking stickers on clothing tags, and I still kept catching this guy's eye. After a while, he came to the door, asked my name, we started talking and he asked for my number.
Things like that, NEVER really happen to me, and it's very, very rare that I'll ever give my number to a stranger.
But, I did...
There was just something about him I guess.
His name is Darren, he's 6ft 4 (a foot and 2 inches taller than me), he's 28, he's gorgeous and really, really lovely. From Blackpool initially, but travelling around with the Torch, selling joke books.
He text me a few minutes later, after he'd left.
I replied when I got home.
We met up in Market Harborough for coffee the next evening, wandered to the Memorial Park and chatted, then I went home, he went back to his camp and we've kept in contact ever since.
I know I only met him twice, but, I can't wait for him to come back so that we can spend more time together : )

I don't tend to believe in fate, but I wasn't working that day... or I wasn't meant to be anyway.
I was going to go home when my course finished early, but for some reason, I didn't.
I didn't bottle out and say "no" to him having my number, which I would probably usually do, through shyness.
He just happened to be working outside of my workplace...
He's not from where I live, so it feels like the World just pushed us together?
Even though I know that sounds really silly... :S
