I had to catch the 44 bus to Market Harborough on Thursday at 12:00pm, because I was meeting Sam from college and we were going to his house for the afternoon.
When the bus pulled in, I said "Hello" to the bus driver, as I always do, regardless of who it is.
And I asked for a "Single to Market Harborough".
The youngish bus driver then said to me, "I'm single, does that count?"
So I said, "Ahh, i'd rather have the ticket for now I think."
So, he said "Ahhh damn, maybe another time, you're so beautiful, i'd love to be able to tell people that you're mine"
So I laughed, went bright red and gave him the money and he said "Thanks sweetheart, have a lovely day"
And I asked for a "Single to Market Harborough".
