Saturday 4th February 2012

Today, (Saturday 4th February) has been such a great day.
I woke up around 10am ish, which was nice because it's rare that I get a lay in anymore.
Mum and Dad went down to the village hall to trade in some gold and silver they had lying around and I had a shower and got ready to have my hair cut.
Dad dropped me to the hairdressers and I had a lovely chat with Jenny, my hairdresser, whilst she cut my hair.
My hair was 26 inches long when I went there, and it's now 18 inches.
But it's soooo much better, and my head feels so much lighter.

After my haircut, Dad, Mark and Mum picked me up and we all went to Wigston to get some shopping.
I treated Mum and I to a Chinese takeaway and Mum and I popped to Farmfoods to get some bits and bobs.
Then Dad dropped Mum and I off in the car park and we walked down to Store 21 in Wigston.
I've been looking to get some work clothes, eg. trousers, a top, flat shoes and stuff for a while, but not been able to afford it.
But, I was paid back a fair bit of money today, so I went looking, and much to my shock and disbelief, I actually got EVERYTHING I was looking for, and MORE, today, and all from the SAME shop.
That NEVER happens to me.

I never really spend much on shopping for myself.
I pick things up here and there, as and when I need them... but today (completely out of the blue) I bought £60's worth of stuff.
I got some new black work trousers, which are really long and comfortable.
I got a new dress, which is greyish and patterned. It's also quite floaty, not what I usually go for.
I bought some new black flats which are really comfy and a new handbag, because mine has been on breaking point for months now.
I also bought a gorgeous jumper, reminds me of Aztecs a bit, not sure why.

Once we'd been to Store 21, we walked back to the car and drove to the petrol station, filled the car up and did the wheels, then drove to Sweet Tooth, bought some cakes and stuff then went to Aldi, got plenty of drinks and food, then I treated myself randomly to a bottle of Aldi's version of Malibu and a DVD double pack for £4.99 which consisted of Marley and Me and In Her Shoes, two films I keep meaning to buy.
Then we came home, chilled all afternoon, I played Sims, ate my Chinese takeaway with Mum and then watched cooking programs and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1.
It was a really brilliant day...
Plus, it's SNOWING, quite heavily too I might add.

So now I feel all refreshed and happy, and quite shiny and new too! :)
It's really nice knowing that I've managed to buy everything I wanted and a bit more, and that it was easy and everything fits, so I don't have to stress about taking it back. :)

Happy Debs :)
