I've had such an amazing day today!
Even though it's been relatively simple, it's been really, really great.

I got up earlyish and went out with Dad to Oadby.
Sorted my money out, paid my phone bill and Dad kindly dropped me into town, where I was meeting Emi.

I went for a wander in M&S whilst I waited for her to show up, then just as I was leaving, Emi rang me asking if i'd just walked past her upstairs.
She was in the baking section as I went down the stairs! We always end up in the same place by accident! : )

Later, Emi and I went for tea/hot chocolate at St Martin's Tea Shop, which was really nice.
The hot chocolate was gorgeous. Best that I've had for a while.

We sat in there for a while, having a catch up, then we went to the cinema to see the latest Nicholas Sparks book, turned movie, The Lucky One.

Seriously enjoyed the film, Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling were brilliant as the two lead characters, supported very well by Blythe Danner, Jay R. Ferguson and Riley Thomas Stewart.

I looked through some of the Nicholas Sparks books I hadn't got before Christmas and The Lucky One really stood out to me, because Logan (Zac Efron) is a Marine, and my second cousin and Uncle were both Marines.

I got the book for Christmas from Mum and Dad, but I haven't got round to reading it yet, then Emi sent me the trailer for it, and I was seriously excited. I had no idea it was being made into a film!

Can't wait to read the book now.

After the cinema, Emi and I wandered around and looked in a few shops, then we walked to the King Power Stadium where I met Mum and went home for a really relaxed and peaceful night.
We watched the last 30 minutes of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and an episode of Gavin and Stacey whilst the boys watched the football. (Liverpool 4 - 1 Chelsea)

Amazing day overall. Loved it.

Work tomorrow, very excited! There's a new "conscript" starting, and I'm training her.
